My name is Christian Klaue and I am currently the principal of Saskatoon Christian School. I have finished 22 years of being a principal in a Christian school. My wife (Joy) and I have 4 children: Liesl graduated from UBC with a BA in English and is currently working for GAiN as the Executive Assistant to the CEO; Monika is recently married to Nathan Willett; Rudy is in the third year of his engineering program (his first year at UBC); Nadia just graduated from grade 12 and will start at TWU in the fall. My wife is currently on the Teacher-on-Call list with the Saskatoon Public School District.
I was born again in 1984 and have been active with preaching and teaching in my local church since 1987. I received my BA in Canadian History from UBC in 1991, my teaching certificate from Simon Fraser University in 1992, and my M.Ed in Administration from George Fox University in 2000. I finished my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University in July 2016. My thesis was Developing Boy-Friendly 8-12 Christian Schools.
I have been involved with Christian education for the last 22 years and have been actively preaching for longer than that. I have been actively mentoring young men for many of those years. Many of the principles I will be covering are ones I have already been practicing; other aspects will be new to me as I seek to gain and share a more comprehensive view of discipleship.
