Just a friendly reminder about the week-long teaching camp that we talked about the most-recent Weekend in the Word. It is called Foundations 101, and will held at the Morning Star Bible Camp, in Westbank, BC (just south of Kelowna), on August 27-31. George Tabert will be the speaker; some of you will recall him from School of Apollos, January 2011.
This will be an intense week, with lots of classes and assignments, patterned very closely to the School of Apollos format. Like the School of Apollos, there will be plenty of breaks for recreation. It is being geared towards those out of school and older, though there could be exceptions. The working title is: “Off with the Old, On with the New”–studies in what a difference Christ makes in our life.
