My parents were Canadian missionaries who served the Lord for 53 years in Chile, South America where I was born and raised. As a young boy of 7, I put my faith and trust in Christ to be my Lord and Saviour. In our home the interest in missions and devotion to the Lord was a part of our everyday life and was a large part of our formation as children. While young I felt that the Lord had called me to serve Him in some capacity. After studying Political Science and working the banking and transport industry in early 1990, I left a comfortable well-paying position in Vancouver, B.C. to work with a mission organization. During that time I was trained further in cross cultural missions and served in Central America, Africa and Southern Europe. As communist nations began to fall I was asked to join a team formed in the country of Albania. It was a historic time and for the next few years I laboured there and met my wife Elizabeth. After our time of pioneering and service, we returned to Canada and engaged in local church ministry and began to form our family of three children. Our current ministry is working with an Asian based church and pastoring the English speaking part of the congregation. In addition to this, we work alongside a brethren church in the Vancouver area and a small Japanese congregation with pastoral support and teaching. Missions is still a large part of our ministry with leading short term teams and returning to Chile to minister in the local churches there.
